"Breath Control"
Author Unknown, (Resource/References are Listed)
NOTE: A semi-common kink, Breath control or Asphyxiaphilia, sometimes called erotic asphyxiation or auto-erotic asphyxiation (if solo play), is a topic of hot debate within the leather community. Some say it's impossible to do safely. Yet, others maintain that it's no riskier than some other things we do. The bottom line, however, is that choking or asphyxiation is dangerous, and brain damage, heart attack, or death could result. If you feel compelled to experiment in this area, read the warnings cited here first, and please use extreme care.
"Abuse vs. Erotic Power Exchange"
This article is partially based on material, produced by:   American National Leather Association, Dutch S&M Media Information Center, and The POWERotics Foundation

Feel free to redistribute, but please do make references to these sources.
Although discriminatory legislation sometimes likes to let you believe otherwise, there are fundamental differences between erotic power exchange and domestic violence (abuse). Erotic power exchange should always be based on the VICSS-concept. Anything else is abuse.

=====================================
This is a very intersting article, written from a submissives viewpoint. I felt it was well worth sharing with others trying to identify what a slave needs and wants.
Submissive BDSM Play Partner Check List
This questionnaire should be filled out by a sub and provided to their Dom/Top before playing with them.  This will provide a quick "head-start" to identifying limits, negotiating and finding common ground for play.
For each item, you need to provide two answers.
