He was a child model and starred in hundreds of commericials. He knew he wanted to act after doing a musical Dragons at age eight in the City Centre Theatre in Manhattan. When he was 16 he and his family moved to L.A. so he could have better career opprotunties.
Masterson says about Hyde: "I think something definitely needs to happen on the sexual side for him." As long as it's not another Chrissie from Punk Chick.
