It has been ten years in the making and finally the Shuttle Brothers have a new book available, Tatting the Self- closing Mock Ring for GR-8 Design. The book is intended to demonstrate the utilization of the Self-closing Mock Ring (SCMR). The book is comprised of 72 pages and has 44 designs ranging from beginner to advanced skill levels. The book uses a simple pattern outline and applies SCMR variations for motifs, edgings, and collars. A brief section on Split Rings is included and it introduces multiple rings on rings and Pearl tatted SCMRs. There should be something of interest for most tatters. Due to the high rate of color publishing, we are only offering the book in black and white. Our intent is to share our ideas as affordably as possible.
