Reading Move Listings

This is how to read move listings on this web site. These are the type of listings used for basic attacks, special moves, and weapon attacks. For an example we'll look at the listing for the jump kick.

Jump Kick - (r, h, 3, 3, airborne attack, opponent is knocked back and falls)
The first thing is the name of the attack. This is the attack name you should use when sending in your action. Sending in any of the other information isn't necessary.

Jump Kick - (r, h, 3, 3, airborne attack, opponent is knocked back and falls)
Next is the attack range. It will either be an h for hand-to-hand or an r for ranged. Hand-to-hand attacks can only be used while at hand-to-hand with your opponent. Ranged attack may be used when you're at any distance from your opponent.

Jump Kick - (r, h, 3, 3, airborne attack, opponent is knocked back and falls)
Third is the attack height. There are three different heights, h for high, m for mid, and l for low. It may also be a v for variable attack height. Attack height doesn't come into play much in MK Online, but it's still an important thing to note.

Jump Kick - (r, h, 3, 3, airborne attack, opponent is knocked back and falls)
The first number is the speed. The higher the number, the faster the move is.

Jump Kick - (r, h, 3, 3, airborne attack, opponent is knocked back and falls)
The second number is strength. If the move is an attack, this is how much damage the attack will take off of your opponent if it hits. All attacks will only take off 1 damage if they're blocked, unless the attack does 0 damage normally, then it does 0 damage when blocked.

Last are any special notes about the attack. Here are the most common attack notes:
