Pets
Three lovely dogs we've got,
As for cats we have not,
And now a new addition
To keep with tradition.
We had four dogs before
But, sadly, they're no more...
Old age took them away,
A loss still felt today.
We don't replace a pet
As each one that we get
Is always a new friend
That's faithful to the end.
With love that never fails
Every wag of their tails
Show us the way they feel...
There's nothing they conceal.
So look after them well
For who can really tell
If your actions may compel
God to send you to Hell.
