South Africans ?
(on an headline in a SA newspaper)
"We are all South Africans!"
And that's the way it should be;
For what's the difference, they ask,
Between a coolie and me ?
"We are all South Africans!"
And came out of the same tree;
So there's no difference, they say,
Between a kaffir and me.
"We are all South Africans!"
And all the world will see
The happiness we share together,
The kaffir, the coolie, and me.
"We are all South Africans!"
But should the others disagree,
No problem! We'll all be Azanians,
The kaffir, the coolie , and me.
