Magusganger (a word spoofed of the word doppleganger) is a section where I find similarities with Magus and other RPG/Cartoon/Movie characters. Some characters maybe a wee bit of a stretch, but others hit the proverbial nail on the head. If you find yourself spotting a Magusganger that you don't see here on this page, send it on my way along with reasons... I don't want to have to research. ^_^

Why: Long flowy hair, has a penchant to wearing purple, extremely crafted in dark magic, elflike facial features, quietly evil

Why: Big ol' purple cape, prefers to wear a mask, flings cape open whem engaging in battle, has flunkies for henchmen
Name: Setzer Gabbiani
Where: Final Fantasy VI (SNES, PSX)
Why: Long flowy hair, enjoys wearing capes, emotionally attached to a departed girl, quietly scheming
Name: Alucard
Where: Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (PSX)
Why: Long flowy hair, extensive cape collection, extremely crafted in dark magic, the unfortunate offspring of an evil maniac
Name: Grim Reaper
Where: The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy (TV)
Why: Seen wearing a cloak, forced into joining previously unliked company, scythe carrier
Name: Sephiroth
Where: Final Fantasy VII (PSX)
Why: Long flowy hair (again), user of large weaponry, extremely crafted in dark magic, evil, joined with the group then turned against you (the opposite of Magus)
Name: Vegeta
Where
: Dragonball Z (TV)
Why:
Same creator (Akira Toriyama), manically destructive and then joins team with intent to destroy the greater evil, same trademark widow's peak, Prince of a once large kingdom

Where: Vampite Hunter D Series (VHS/DVD)
Why: Long flowy hair (again), coldly polite and indifferent, righting the wrongs of his evil kin, forced to have unwelcome but useful  company (hand parasite), conceals identity (Dunpeal = D)
Name: Vigo the Carpathian
Where
: Ghostbusters II (VHS/DVD)
Why:
Piercing look of scorn on face, inherently evil, cape wearer, "time is but a door", both missing cats ("Carpathian kitten loss"), has sniveling followers at his every beck and call
