GuN has kicked off the new year with a GuN only cash tournament that was held on Sunday. There was 9 players and it turned out to be quite competitive and entertaining as well. Congrats to GuN-Steelie for taking home the $25US first prize and runner up GuN-King 2nd prize with $15. It was a big CW today for GuNs, unfortunately we lost them both. We played our top GuN members againstt FcG but fell 4-3. Our B team faced off against our allied clan NP and fell 2-3. It's okay, we can't win them all! It was overall fun and very competitve for both sides, but good try everyone. Also welcome member GuN-King- aka (-king.fool-), he's made a zerg recruit GuN-Rutger. This weekend, we tried something new to us, and that was Korean Style CWs. Great job over a 3-1 victory over TaP on Saturday and we held a another korean style CW against (OD) and pulled a 4-2 victory. Good job everybody! Also welcome two French GuN members, GuN-Zirak and GuN-Kocaine. They will be trial members for the first week as we test their skills and their committment to the team.
Today, GuN-Krman holding the crown for KOTH faced off BO5 against GuN-Light and won 3-0. GuN-Krman receives a cash prize of $10 and is eligible to continue his streak to triple his prize if he can hold it to the 8th week. Just for everyone's attention, you need 5 GuN points to be eligible to cash in for a contender match. Details on how to get them is in the KOTH Rules/Bank link. A new twist was added. The first Sunday of every month, we will host a single elmination tournament that gives members who don't have 5 GuN points a chance to face-off against the KOTH.
Week 4 showdown, he will go against GuN-Tester. Will the fearless Tester be able to break the streak of skillful Krman? We'll find out this Sunday, Nov 25th!

Good job everyone on a 6-1 CW win against our allied clan {NP}. We are getting stronger and stronger as we grow. I've recruited two new members, welcome GuN-Zirak from Quebec, he is French and GuN-Kocaine, another French person as well. They are both pro Protoss users so welcome them to GuN! Also welcome back GuN-AcE, a great random user who is sure to be a great asset to the team. I've talked to GuN-Kyjo and GuN-Blunt, who I will be giving them a tryout for their request to be back on the team. We have standards that require a tryout but be sure they have not forgottten their gosuness ^_^. Please be sure to play ICCUP as well as GuN brings their skills to the world and hopefully rise on the Abyss as well. I will try to look for another CW this week so stay tuned!

Congradulations to GuN-Krman, our first tourney and KOTH winner! It was a series of intense matches, with the winner/loser brackets. Krman faced off against GuN-Light in the final match and won 2-0. It was a very intense match. The brackets can be viewed in the forum under Tournaments forum.
As KOTH winner, GuN-Krman receives 1 KOTH win. Our next contender, who placed 3rd in the tournament is GuN-Seller. For a one-time only, he will be able to face-off against GuN-Krman for a chance to be KOTH. They have until this Sunday, Nov 11th to finish BO5. Winner/loser reports in forum or contact me. After that week, in order to face-off against the KOTH, you must get 5 GuN Points and cash them in for a contender's match. For details, be sure to check out KOTH Rules/Banking

GuN is hosting a Single elmination Tournament for GuNs only this Sunday, November 4th @ 8PM ET! Basically, we are putting some competitiveness in the clan. Whoever shows up on Sunday, we will determine the brackets by then. The top two will faceoff whenever they have time to do their own BO5 and we let "King of the Hill" begin!
KOTH works like this. The first two players are determined in the top 2 winners of the tournament. Those 2 players will have a week to playoff their games which will be "BEST OF 5" on 5 different maps. All details are in the KOTH page. Did I mention CASH Prizes?
Also, The GuN ICCUP team is up, I just have to contact Juice to set the new members in and get rid of the old ones. Right now, GuN-NaMe is leading top player, 11-1. GuN-ZeRy is leading our 2v2s with 35-19 and C ranking. I hope to build myself on ICCUP later once I fully re-establish ourselves on east server. So everyone, request to join the team. Mid November, after exams for college students, we will be looking for CWs.
