Friday 5 October 2007, when I was in the rear terrace of the house I spotted the earthen pipe of termite, from the ground to the bottom of the window. There are two big windows, 3 feet wide by 7 feet high, in the living room opposite the TV. The windows bottom frame attached to the floor. In the outside of those windows is the back yard of the house, with some plants and grass, and ivy-covered wall on the back of the garden.

Since the ground outside the window is lower than the floor, there is a low wall of around 6 inches under the windows. And it was on that low wall that I spotted the earthen-pipe of termite from the ground to the bottom frame of the window. I immediately took the Baygon spray, opened the left window, found some termites scattered there, and sprayed them off. On the right window, another horizontal earthen-pipe of termite jotted from a small gap between the window shutter and the frame. Yet the Baygon spray was only a few left, so I postponed to open that window.

The next day 6 October 2007 I went to the supermarket to buy a new Baygon spray. And when I returned home, I found that unopened window has been opened, the maid had done it and sprayed it with Raid aerosol.

Approximately one month later, when I was in front of the bathroom, suddenly came a thought in my mind about "safety precaution" for you. I had no idea what was the meaning of it. By the time I stepped into the bath room and closed the door, I found another earthen-pipe of termite in the corner between the door post and the ceramic tiles of the bathroom wall. It was around one foot from the floor, eight inches high.

Up to that moment I still had no intention to write about it, although it did remind me with the story about King Solomon. The story tells that when King Solomon died, nobody knew it yet, only after the termite consumed his wooden staff and he fell to the ground, that the devils knew his death.

A few days later on TV, I saw some footages of the latest Hollywood movies, among them was "Before the Devil Knows You're Dead", starring Philip Seymour Hoffman the 2006 Oscar winner for Best Actor. It was then I had the intention to write it here.

'Enchanted' Casts $50M Box-Office Spell
Sunday November 25 1:49 PM ET

Audiences fell under the spell of "Enchanted," a fairy-tale romance that debuted as the No. 1 movie and led Hollywood out of its recent box-office doldrums with solid business over the Thanksgiving holiday.

Starring Amy Adams as a cartoon princess exiled to real-world Manhattan by her fiance's wicked stepmother (Susan Sarandon), Disney's "Enchanted" took in $35.3 million over the weekend and $50.05 million since debuting Wednesday, according to studio estimates Sunday.

Sony Screen Gems' family reunion holiday tale "This Christmas," whose ensemble cast includes Delroy Lindo, Regina King, Mekhi Phifer and Idris Elba, opened at No. 2 with $18.6 million for the weekend and $27.1 million since Wednesday.

The tale follows the beautiful princess Giselle as she is banished by an evil queen from her magical, musical animated land--and finds herself in the gritty reality of the streets of modern-day Manhattan. Shocked by this strange new environment that doesn't operate on a "happily ever after" basis, Giselle is now adrift in a chaotic world badly in need of enchantment. But when Giselle begins to fall... See Full Description

Two days after my previous letter of "Paris Hilton's Far East Trip" I found the news at Yahoo about the movie 'Enchanted' Casts $50M Box-Office Spell. As if it was related with that letter of mine since the word 'Far East' sounds like my high school friend Fariz RM whose niece Sherina a few months ago has successfully released a hit song "BETTER THAN LOVE"  with the word "enchanted" in the lyrics:

"........What did you say, what did you do?

Somehow, I feel I'm enchanted by you ..................."

Well I hope the success of the movie "Enchanted" will encourage her to produce more beautiful songs in the future, hopefully without having to get involve in drug case.
