Multiplayer Rules: --All normal rules apply (8000 Life Points, tributes, restrictions, etc.). --Any player may attack any other player. However, during the first round of play, no player may attack any other player who has not had a turn yet. --Once the first player is determined (by dice rolling, coin flips, cutting decks to see who has the highest attack power or level, however you choose to determine such things), all other players will take their turns in a clockwise pattern, starting on the left of the first player and continuing to the left. --Any card that says "both players" or something similar is to be read as "all players" instead. Examples are Card Destruction and Cyber Jar. --Any card that says "opponent" referring to one other player still only targets one other player. Examples are Raigeki and Share the Pain. --Any player may respond to any card played as if the card was being used against them. For example, if Player A targets Player B with a Raigeki, Player C may use Magic Jammer on it. Players may not use effects such as Shift, Mirror Force, or Magical Hats for each other, however. --When a player is decked or runs out of Life Points, any cards that player controls on the field and all cards in that player's graveyard are removed from the game. Any cards taken from that player by use of Monster Reborn, Exchange, etc. remain in play until sent to the graveyard, at which point they are removed from the game. --In order to win, a player must meet one of the following conditions: 1. be the last player with any remaining Life Points 2. be the last player able to draw cards (meaning all other players are decked 3. pull off an Exodia victory 4. pull off a FINAL Message victory. Tag Team Rules: --All above multiplayer rules apply. --Any mass-effect that would target a single player (such as Raigeki) will also target that player's teammates. Effects such as Share the Pain and Delinquent Duo do not apply to this. --Players on a single team may, with permission, use each others' monsters for fusions. The person who used polymerization/fusion gate will control the fusion monster. --Players on a single team may activate cards such as Mirror Force for each other, but only if sharing life points. --Teams must choose before the game whether to share one Life Point count of 8000 times the number of players on the team or have separate Life Point counts of the normal 8000. --If one player loses, that player is removed from the game as per Multiplayer rules. That player's teammates remain in the game unless they were sharing Life Points and lost through that. --The same win conditions apply as in Multiplayer. |
