FRI Bicycle Series Drag Racing Drag Racing is where two competitors will race from a dead stop start to a given distance at full speed and will be timed. The winner is always the one who finishes first. This event is similar to that of cars running the � mile, just done with bikes and with a shorter distance. Strong legs are a must when racing in the straight. Info & Regulations There will be practice-runs where participants may warm up. After that, participants will be bracket racing down the drag strip according to the type of bicycle they ride. This will be an elimination of participants and the top eight will be the recognized racers. This racing event will not allow free laps due to warm up runs and bracket racing. FRI inspectors must inspect the participant�s bicycle before running on the drag strip. All parts must function properly and be well tightened. Classes RB-Road bikes such as freestyles or any non-speed bike are only allowed. SB-Speed bikes such as Mt. bikes or any bike with gearing are only allowed.
