USA: PROTESTS AGAINST
THE DEATH PENALTY

Not even in the United States is everyone in agreement with the death penalty. In fact, in various states and on number occasions, protests have been held against the death penalty, against the cruel treatments inflicted on the sentenced, and against the inherent racism in the death sentences that strike in large majority the ethnic minorities and those of color.

If you want to see other photographs of the protest against the death penalty carried out in the Polunsky Unit, where Eugene Broxton is being held, and a lot of photographic documentation regarding various other protests carried out in other American states, go to this address.
If you want to have more information on the conditions in which the condemned live in the Polunsky Unit in Texas, go to this address. If instead you want to read the letters of the condemned regarding the conditions in which they are obliged to live, go to this address.

The photographs that follow are taken from the Texas Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty.
