Reflection in water with wave effect  (see
sample here)
1.Import(Ctr+R
or File-Import) any .jpg or .gif image which you want to use as background.An
image having water such as a beach, lake or pond will give better effect.
Name this layer as background.
2.Create a new layer on top
of background layer.Name it original image.In 1st keyframe of this layer
import the image whose reflection you want to create,preferably a person
in sitting or standing posture or any animal.Now select this image &
convert it into a Graphic (Ctr+F8 or Insert-convert to symbol & select
graphic radiobutton).Lock the layer.
3.Now create layer3 & name
it reflection.In 1st keyframe of this layer insert the graphic you just
created in the above step by going Ctr+L & dragging it on stage.Place
it exactly below the image in original image layer just touching it.Now
go Modify-transform-flip vertical.Now using the arrow keys move this reflected
image slightly down so that a little space is visible between the two
images.Now go Window-Panel-Effect.Choose alpha & drag the slider down
to 80%.
4.Create layer4 & name
it reflection2.In the 1st keyframe of this layer insert the graphic from
the library(Ctr+L) onto the stage.Place it exactly overlying the image
in the reflection layer.Go to Modify-Transform-Flip vertical.
5.Create layer5 & name
it mask.Select ellipse tool & in the 1st keyframe of this layer draw
an ellipse in the space between the upright & inverted images as shown
in this picture. Now
group the ellipse(Ctr+G).At frame 20 insert a frame(F5) for all layers
except mask layer.For mask layer insert a keyframe(F6) at frame 20.Now
in this 20th keyframe drag the ellipse down to the end of the inverted
image.Then create motion tween between 1st &20th keyframe of mask
layer.
6.Now in the layers panel right-click
on the mask layer & select mask from the options displayed.Now play
your movie.
