One nite Kaoru was starring up the star and thinking of Kenshin. She's getting worried about the one that she loves, no one but Kenshin ! b'cos Kaoru was so afraid if Kenshin will leave her, that's the greatest her weakness she can't live without Kenshin on her side. So... that's why she worried about Kenshin! after almost a year Kaoru was lived together w/ Kenshin but... Kaoru is still confused about her feeling, Kenshin never expressing his feeling so, Kaoru can't thought what Kenshin feeling to her, Kaoru can't guess it ! all Kaoru can do now is just waiting, waiting and waiting !
although Kaoru is getting bored w/ all Kenshin treatment, w/ all Kenshin've done to her, but Kaoru is still waiting waiting till the times is come, until Kenshin says 

" I LOVE YOU "

to Kaoru, Kaoru always waiting the moment but the moment never comes, 
" hhh.... (sigh) Kenshin do you know that I have a big crush on you ...? " Kaoru was whispering to herself, suddenly Kenshin come out from his room and he's surprised and  lookin' at Kaoru " Kaoru-dono what are you doing there ? " asked Kenshin w/ his smile " nn... nothing ! well anyway why you're still awake ? "  Kaoru tried to change the topic " oh... I can't sleep, I hear someone call my name so I came out to check it out ! "  Kenshin approaching Kaoru and sit on her side, Kenshin was looking up the star " wow !! what a beautiful star ! "
" yeah ... they're so beautiful ..." Kaoru also looking up the star
and Kaoru looking at Kenshin and try to guess what's on his mind 
" ng...? what's wrong Kaoru-dono ? " 
" ah ! no... no.. nothing ! " Kaoru try to hide her feeling
" aaa.... no longer we'll celebrate TANABATA's day ! "
" tanabata's day ...? " Kenshin was confusing
" I never been celebrate the tanabata's day "
" oh ya ? I've got a good idea ! " Kaoru got an idea
" what idea ? "
" we can come out during tanabata's day ! just you and me ! "
" you and me ? it seems like  DATE ? "
" a DATE !?!?!?!?! no... no !! it's just ... I mean... ( blushin' ) AAAh just forget about that ! if u don't want to, we'll not going ! " Kaoru mad 
" Gomen Kaoru-dono I didn't mean to upset you ! well... alrite we'll going ! "
" eh !?! " Kaoru was surprised, then Kenshin smiling to Kaoru what a good smile !
" alrite... it's time for bed ! u better going to sleep, Kaoru-dono... "
" ahh... hai ! u either Kenshin ! have a sweet dream " Kaoru try to express her feeling to Kenshin " ok, u either Kaoru-dono ! " then Kenshin leave Kaoru and go to his room " hhh.... (sigh) Kenshin what can I do to let you know that I have a big crush on you ! but Kenshin never been realized about my feeling, does he love me like I do ? " Kaoru try to guess

Then when Tanabata's day is coming...
they're going to Hindu temple and praying to God, Kaoru praying that one day she will become Kenshin's wife. After they're praying they're going to city center, There's a lot of people in there. Then Kenshin and Kaoru Having lunch together at Tae's Restaurant 
" aaaa.... welcome Kaoru-san Kenshin-san ! " Tae smiling to them. 
" ah, hi Tae-san ! long time no see  " Kaoru approaching Tae
" c'mon follow me ! " Tae look suspicous
" ng ? what's wrong tae-san ? "
" pssst... I've got a good place for you and Kenshin, so you can in couples with Kenshin ... " Tae whispering to kaoru
" WHAAATTTT !? TAE-SAN !!!! " Kaoru shouted so loud and she's blushing
" ng ? what's wrong kaoru-dono ? " asked Kenshin 
" Ah !! nothing ! I...I...I...I.. it's just... well, I mean aaa.... Tae-san have a good place for us Kenshin... ummm well, ng...what do you think Kenshin ? " Kaoru look so nervous and blushing
" Well, that's good ! " Kenshin smiling to Kaoru ( what a good smile )

then Kenshin and Kaoru following Tae....
