Annotations (page.pannel)

62.1 - The text identifies this story as chronologically following directly on from just after the end of the "A Day in the Lives" story by Dan Abnett. Qward is the only one of the original Multiverse dimensions left after the Crisis. It is a complete mirror to our own universe it was retconned during the second League series so that the Crime Syndicate (originally from Earth-Three as established in JLA (first series) #29) now originated from Qward. Qward is used as both the name of the universe and as a planet there.

Items in the green display case left-to right: Blue Beetle's bug gadgets; a Starman Gravity Rod; Prometheus's helmet above a Parademon helmet; the now ubiquitous Professor Kirby's Dots; the Sword of Superman (refereed to in the text, from SUPERMAN (first series) ANNUAL #10); a Green Lantern power battery (possibly Alan Scott's); an unknown book (possible the Necronomicon); the Lord of Time's Anti-Hourglass (as mentioned by Superman M*); a small item between the Hourglass and the next item - just visible this is Professor Fortune's Badluck generator (see 69.1); and an unknown piece of technology.

62.2 - The Crime Syndicate originally consisted of Power Ring (Green Lantern), Ultraman (Superman), Owlman (Batman), Johnny Quick (Flash) and Superwoman (Wonder Woman). This is the first appearance of Superwoman M* who is now the duplicate of Wonder Woman M*.

63.1 - Titanno was an ape who was transformed into a King Kong sized giant and fought Superman. Solovar I was the original ruler of Gorilla City in the Flash Comics, he was murdered in JLA (third series) ANNUAL #3 (1999).

64.3 - The other members of the Primate Legion they are based on the Detective Chimp from REX, THE WONDER DOG #4 (a chimp dressed like Sherlock Holmes) and Sea Monkeys (a odd form of sea life that could be purchased from adverts in old comics). The tiny lemur with the atom symbol is not named.
