while Old sydney Town was still open.

Late November  we both visited Old Sydney Town with Shelley. Old Sydney Town has since been closed due to lack of funds.

In the Stocks - perhaps out of mischief. A close up of Andrew  in the stocks.

Andrew - Taking part in the Street theatre

In December last year the Sonne was at the old international passenger terminal. It was a German geographical Survey boat on which we took a tour. Here is Jessica taken next to the drag net.   Here is one of me sleeping taken that afternoon, at home.

Here is a shot taken from the balcony on New Years Eve 2002/3. This is another one taken earlier with the zoom lens. Andrew took these.

We attended some of the festivities at Chinese New Year on 8th February 2003 -here is a shot of the dragon boat race in Darling Harbour.  These others were taken on the same day  beside the Sheep Sculpture in Darling Harbour -on the way through to the boat races. Me & Jessica.

Here is a floral representation of the Australian Flag near Tumblong Park.

This one was taken early on the morning of 29th March 2003; from the balcony & I managed to capture some balloons which just had to abort take -off.

This is one of the few pictures taken by Jessica of Andrew  at Darling Harbour on the way to the Maritime Museum, we were on our way to the Star City casino for a cheap Sunday lunch. Also in March.

Here is a merged picture of the Archibald fountain in Hyde Park North taken on that same day. This has always been one of my favourite fountains & during the recent 'Peace Marches' the peaceful protestors vandalised this beautiful fountain.

Jessica & I get carer's respite which means that she gets to travel around the city visiting the sites while I am taking it easy or studying.

These fearsome looking beasts are Australian Flying Foxes they are marsupials & really do look a little like foxes. This picture was taken in an Native Animal rescue hospital at Lane Cove National park. Sometime in February. Shelley took Jessica for a drive there.

Here is Jessica at Coogee Beach, she often visits there with Shelley, a camera shy respite worker.

Here are a series taken at Balmoral Beach: - By the Ocean; the Bandstand; a memorial in the park.

Here is Jessica at North Bondi. At Observatory Hill in March 2003 & in the Rocks with Peggy.

These next few were taken at Victoria barracks in Paddington. Jessica & Peggy; the barracks.

This next one of Jessica behind bars is taken in the park behind Government House NSW. Here, again on top of the observatory tower at Woolloomooloo.

This is the fabled Gap  at Watson's Bay & here is one taken at South Head on another day.

This one is one of the few of us together taken by our friend  Richard on a walk through the Botanical gardens in Sydney - this is another fountain I keep failing to capture at its best.

Here is another  view from within the Gardens looking towards the city buildings.

This is one looking across to Milson's Point.  Taken from underneath the Harbour Bridge on this side - naturally, & here is the Opera House taken from the way round one of the quays.

This photo is of the barquentine Bounty taken by Jessica when she was out with a respite worker named Peggy.

Here  Jessica is taken with a friend of Peggy's at Circular Quay. Here is another old boat or ship known as the James Craig. It began its life as a coal hauler or barge. This was snapped on the same day from over the other side of the harbour.

Here is another one of Andrew ,taken by Jessica, inside the captains cabin in the James Craig.
