STAR TREK
NEMESIS

2002 **** 116 mins.

This is a thorougly entertaining installment in the Star Trek series. The first half hour of the film is remarkable, in fact. The ending brings a tear to one's eye. In between those two great elements, the film does seem to drag a bit, but it's still a great film.

After Riker (Jonathan Frakes) and Troy (Marina Sirtis) are married, the Enterprise gets caught up in a rather odd adventure in which Picard (Patrick Stewart) encounters an enemy unlike any he has ever encountered before. I don't really want to give away any more of the story than that, for then you would have no reason to watch this worthy installment in the series.
Rated PG-13 for sci-fi action, violence, and peril and a scene of sexual content.
