Salamanders, Firedrakes, Fire Sprits, Fire Giants|

Salamanders (Vulcan): Givers of passion and creativity. Rulers of Lightning and fire or blue flames. Envisioned as dragons, lizards, and fire beings. The protectors of hearth, and home, or business. The Salamanders can show you amazing perspectives. |

Fire Sprit: Mischievous sparks of fire that love to flit and fly through flame. They have a tendency to jump from the flames if not watched carefully. Seen as fire lights or moving flames. |

|
Firedrakes: T hey have the breath of flame, and are usually reddish in color. This type of dragon does not fly, it looks like large lizards being about 4 to 40 feet long. This dragon has links to the Western dragon in history, but no solid history has been produced. Sometimes young western dragons are mistaken for drakes because of the lack of wings until they reach maturity. |

Sort: A fierce fire giant, rose from the furnace of Ragnarock, to lead his fiery hordes against the Gods. With flaming Sword he burned the nine worlds to blackened ash, where they sank and arose fresh, green and new.

Sol: A sun maid, who road a chariot with a small flame of fire, the Gods had given her, to create the sun. |

Phoenix:
The Phoenix resembles some sort of eagle that is either on fire or in most cases it is made of fire. This spiritual bird is most often associated with omens. The Phoenix has come to symbolize the cycle of death and rebirth.
At the depth of the bonfire there shines a magical world, this is the world of the Fire Spirits. By merely lighting a candle you are inviting their presence. A simple gift to the fire spirits can be the lighting of a suitable fire such as a candle. The flames of inspiration are also pleasing to the salamanders. A way of communing with the Fire Spirits is making a fire picture. This is a way of drawing closer to the fire sprits and, if we are lucky, we may catch a glimpse of them in their ethereal dance within the flames.
