The Salon Chair to the left, is the chair that Jo Ann sat hundreds of customers in, over the 14 years she used that chair in the beauty shop that was at the Scaglione home. It has since been restored to its original beauty. Jo Ann always told the story, of when a customer would sit down, and she would touch there head, all of there troubles and concerns about life would start to flow out. (Meaning she was a beautician by day and counselor by night...) Jo Ann was a great listener to everyone's troubles and concerns and gossip of the day. She rarely repeated anything, just listened and smiled inside... Below is a picture of Jo Ann giving her son Michael, his first haircut, in 1986, and then giving her grandson, Joel his first haircut, in 1998. The chair now sits proudly in the Scaglione family room, as a constant reminder of the happiness and joy that Jo Ann received when she stood behind that chair, with a pair of scissors in one hand, and a comb in the other. Just another tribute to such a wonderful individual. She really made a difference in many peoples lives.
