( E )   PARADISE VS. HELL /  HELL  BELOW

Since there is a spiritual prison then such a place would best define hell and not paradise and certainly not Abrahams bosom.  A place of torments in flames is clearly hell.   While a place of comfort far better defines paradise.  Scripture clearly states that in hell the body and soul is destroyed ( Matt. 10:28 ).   This is certainly not a place of comfort nor paradise.  The soul of Jesus, ( when He made His descent into the heart of the earth after His death on the cross ), did not go to Abrahams bosom.   When Jesus died on the cross His soul did not go to paradise but rather it descended into hell, the spiritual prison, in order to preach to the disobedient spiritual prisoners there ( 1 Peter 3:18-20 ).   Other scriptures clearly write that Jesus entered into hell;

8.  Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
9.  (Now that he ascended, what is it but that
he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
10.
He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)  - Eph. 4:8-10

40.  For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly;
so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. -  Matt.  12:40

27.
Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
31.  He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ,
that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.   -  Acts 2:27 & 31

These passages speak of the lower parts of the earth or the heart of the earth, that is to say, hell.  Not Abrahams bosom or paradise.   Hell, not paradise, is the heart of the earth of which Jesus spoke in Matthew.  Hell, not paradise, is the place to which Jesus descended of which Paul writes in Ephesians.   And it is the soul of Christ in hell, not paradise, that Peter preached in Acts.  All of these scriptures are speaking of one and the same occurrence.  That is to say that the soul of Jesus Christ descended into the heart of the earth, hell.  The soul of Jesus Christ was in that region of the damned, that spiritual prison, for 3 days and 3 nights and during His time there He preached to the disobedient spirits in that spiritual prison.  Jesus did not descend into paradise after His death.
