( L )   THE ISSUE OF TRANSLATIONAL ERROR; OT & NT  -  PART 2

In 1 Samuel is written these words about King Saul;

21.  Then said Saul, I have sinned: return, my son David: for I will no more do thee harm, because my soul was precious in thine eyes this day: behold, I have played the fool, and have erred exceedingly. -  1 Samuel 26:21

Saul confesses that he exceedingly committed error.  In addition to this, Saul also confesses that he sinned and played the fool.  From these few verses of OT scriptures as found within the content of the KJV translation is revealed clearly that to err is sinful and consequently requires atonement and forgiveness in order to be free and clean from error.  If the KJV was and is a English translation which has error then automatically it would inherently be a sinful translated work and thus would never have had the spiritual power within its words to provide salvation in Christ for the sinner.

Therefore, it is simply foolish and erroneous to believe and say that the English KJV translation of holy scripture has error.  The English translation of holy scripture of the KJV is inerrant.  It is without any error.  Next, as concerning error, the writings of the NT reveal;

7.  But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself,
and for the errors of the people: -  Hebrews 9:7

The blood of animals was offered for the high priest and the errors of the people.  During Old Testament times, animal blood atoned and forgave the sins and errors of Gods people.   As stated earlier, if the holy scriptures as translated into English via the KJV had any inherent errors then they would not even have the ability to provide salvation for sinners in the similar manner that the Old Testament sacrificial animal offerings were able to provide atonement for the errors of the people.  If this were truly the matter concerning KJV holy scriptures then those English translated scriptures never provided and can never provide salvation in Christ for the sinner.   Next, in the writing of James;

20.  Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.  -  James 5:20

James states that someone who converts the sinner from the error of the sinners way saves that soul from death.   Without doubt, salvation is the saving power of the soul in Christ from death.  Where then does a person obtain the power and ability to provide conversion for the erroneous sinner?  From the holy scriptures themselves, ( Psalms 119:9-11 / Romans 1:16-17 / 1 Timothy 4:16 /  2 Timothy 3:15 /  James 1:21 /  1 Peter 1:22-23 ).  If the KJV scriptures had inherent translation errors then they never could have provided the power for conversion of the sinner from their errors and thus saving the erroneous sinful soul from death.
