| "MANIAC" SPEAKS ON HIS RETURN |
| With pre-sale tickets already at 50+, NEP's venue began to worry about "Redemption" exceeding their capacity limits. To try and slow sales, the venu moved the event from March 10 to the 17th. Ticket sales continued to climb so the venu again moved the event, this time to the 31st. When the sales showed no sign of slowing, NEP's current venue (J-Fitness) pulled the plug entirely and 'Redemption" was no more. Wantiong to give the fans the same high impact intensity without the drama, NEP Officials began the search for new shows beginnign in April. With 4 prospects already fighting for the chance to mkae a pay-day, there is no telling how big the next event will be. Stay tuned as this story develops. |
| No longer the NEP Champion, Angel was hard pressed to redeem himself in the eyes of his fans. Feeling the only way to do this was revenge, Angel went to the Championship Comittee and requested a match with the man that cost him his title in the first place, "The Chairman" Tom Ugly. With nothing to gain in such a match, Ugly declined. It was then that Angel sweetened the pot putting his #1 Contendership on the line. Ugly then asked that the match be more in his favor and was granted a No-Disqualification stipulation. Who will coe out the #1 contender and who will be more worse for wear? |

| Retired due to injury. Gone far before his time. We bid farewell to "Maniac" Martin... or so we thought. February 17, 2007 Martin made his return to NEP to a thunderous ovation. The crowd went crazy as Martin stormed the ring in defense of Angel. That is untilhe level the same man he had come to defend with one of the stiffest clothelines ever seen in Rhode Island.
