Region:
Red Sea, Gulf of Aden.
Habitat:
nocturnal, one to fifteen feet, gregarious in widely seperated colonies, no widescale movement of colonies, several located in one spot in a colony.
Notes:
Similar to
Cypraea pantherina
in color and size.
