[The Contest] Amazon: The Contest #1-4:
All these years, Ororo and Diana have been at odds with each other. Here, they battle each other at last in a winner-take-all match for the mantle of Wonder Woman.
Diana had the chance of claiming the mantle of Wonder Woman for her own, when the Amazons held their original contest to choose who'd be their "ambassador" to man's world. Instead, Diana decided to go her own way, without the restriction of the queen's rules. This left the mantle to Ororo by default.
The contest ends with Ororo the victor.
The comics Amazon and Bullets and Braclets emerge from this mini-series.

Victor Von Doom remains at the base, monitoring the top secret project. Ben informs them that the trip is only secret until they land. Then, they'll be on gloval television, via President's orders. Doom, not liking the idea that Reed will gain glory on an invention he helped design, causes the auto-gyros and re-entry systems to go offline. Managing to survive, they pledge to challenge the fantastic.

"Legacy of Apocalypse": Logan and Ra's A-Pocalypse were fighting in a desert, evenly matched, until a scorpion attacks Logan. While fighting the poison, Ra's A-Pocalypse and his assistant Ubuwong take off in their plane - leaving their weapons behind with Logan and Lady Talia. Logan knows Ra's A-Pocalypse left them behind purposely, as if daring Logan to do something about it. He does - he shoots down the plane. Lady Talia, fearing her father dead, raced into the burning debris, burning off 90% of her skin, without finding his body. Talia extracts revenge in Dark Claw Adventures #1

General Thunderbolt Ross was the last official surviving witness of the Super-Soldier Experiment. He wanted Cadmus to recreate SuperSoldier one way or another. It was Peter Parker's idea to clone with the genetic ability to manipulate gravity. Other scientists involved were Victor Von Doom, Dr Donovan, and Reed Richards.
Unfortunalely, Peter Parker was killed in the experiment: a mysterious power surge fried him and wiped out most of Operation: Rebirth. This caused SpiderBoy to wake up prematurely, his powers not at their full potential. A commission decided Peter Parker's inexperience caused the accident, when really Donovan sabatoged it.
