In Memory of

Harry Lillis (Bing) Crosby

October 14, 2002 will mark the 25th anniversary of the death of one of the most prolific and respected artist in entertainment, Bing Crosby. Crosby died of a massive heart attack on a golf course in Madrid.  Reportedly, his last words were "That was a great game of golf, fellas. Let's go have a Coca-Cola."

Crosby's international appeal and enormous contributions to radio, television, and films have been greatly overlooked in the years since his death.  The anniversary of his death is likely to go by unnoticed by today's media unlike the endless coverage of the anniversary of Elvis' death.  On October 14, 2002, play your Crosby records and CDs loud and commemorate this day as only a Crosby fan could, with style and respect.

And if there's going to be a life here after

And faith I'm sure there's going to be

I will ask my God to let me make my Heaven

In that dear land across the Irish sea'
