I am Sailor Gemstar, Jo Ann's Anime avatar. Anime is cartoons from Japan (Manga is the comics). They can be cute and funny or downright serious and adult.

Anime is often idenified by large eyes, tiny noses and mouths, and hair in wild styles and every color imaginiable.
I have several favorite shows in anime. This room will have a few of them.
I know that there is some debate on what kind of Anime is best. Some think that Anime in the orginal, unedited Japanese is best. Others think that the sub-titled Anime is best. The third opinion is that the dubbed Anime (which is what appears on American TV) is best.
Of the three opinions, I go by the third, for the simple fact that I do not read, write, speak, or understand the Japanese languge. Although I have a Japanese-English dictionary, and may, on occation, use Japanese words and phrases, I am not fluent in the languge. Character names and such will be the dubbed versions.

| Cyborg 009 | Evil organization Black Ghost changes people into cyborgs. The first nine cyborgs join forces to stop Black Ghost. Drawn in "old-style" Anime (Speed Racer, Astroboy, Gigantor, etc.) |
| Rurouni Kenshin | Very handsome wandering swordsman attempts to atone for his bloody past by protecting the innocent with his special, "reverse-blade" sword. How long can he go without breaking his vow to never kill again? |
