Harsh Realm

Harsh Realm was a series created by Chris Carter in 1999. The series was short-lived... only three episodes were ever aired on Fox. The remaining episodes were shown months later on Fox's FX cable network.

Harsh Realm is the story of Lieutenant Tom Hobbes assigned by the US military to go into a virtual reality environment after an out of control General. Trapped in the simulation and separated from his fiancé, Sophie Green, Hobbes and Mike Pinnochio and other virtual reality counterparts fight to free Harsh Realm from General Santiago's military dictatorship. Meanwhile in the real world, Sophie struggles to learn the truth about Hobbes' disappearance and the military cover-up surrounding it.
