Millennium
was a suspense series created by The X-Files' Chris Carter. The series
starred Lance Henriksen and Megan Gallagher, later joined by Terry
O'Quinn, Kristen Cloke, Klea Scott and others. The show centered around
Frank Black, a former FBI profiler, who uses his abilities to hunt down
murderers, serial killers and sex offenders. Frank Black uses the
visions he receives to hunt down the criminals on behalf of the
mysterious Millennium Group. Frank Black is a reluctant hero, having
quit the FBI to lead a normal life with his wife and daughter.
Frank Black would later return to the FBI to take on the Millennium Group, who were revealed to be a cult obsessed with bringing about an apocalyptic end of the world at the turn of the millennium. Lance Henriksen's final appearance as Frank Black was on the November 28, 1999 X-Files episode titled, appropriately enough, "Millennium".
