Gender Prediction
The Fertility Awareness Method (FAM) is a natural method of determining whether a woman is fertile or infertile by observing simple body signs and applying a few rules of interpretation.

FAM pinpoints when a woman is most fertile, when ovulation has occurred, and when she might be pregnant. Because of its efficacy in predicting fertility, FAM can reduce the time it takes to successfully conceive from an average of 6 months to 2-3 months.  This same method can be used as a means of avoiding pregnancy.

FAM is based upon the charting and analysis of certain simple body signs that change with changes in a woman's menstrual cycle. Specifically, waking temperature (also referred to as basal body temperature) and cervical fluid (sometimes referred to as cervical mucus) change predictably and identifiably with changes in the hormonal cycle that accompanies ovulation and menstruation. Users of
Ovusoft Fertility Software simply observe and record these changes and the software then analyzes them to determine fertility, to estimate the date of ovulation, and to identify pregnancy.

If not using software, manual practicioners of FAM learn the various rules of the method by reading
Taking Charge of Your Fertility or by taking classes from a certified FAM practicioner. Then, they simply record their fertility signs on printed charts (which are available for free by clicking here and make their own interpretations using the rules of the method.

I highly recommend getting a copy of Taking Charge of Your Fertility. It is a great source to have around. I think it also wise to chart on printed charts even if you use a software or online service. That way you can record and look at your charts daily without going online.

You can chart online for free at
Fertility Friend. You can also read here about Fertility Charting.
