Chore Cards
Home They say it takes 21 days to make a habit, so I decided to make a simpler way for us to make some habits that will keep us organized. Then we will be working on automatic pilot-building routines that are simple and keep the house clean. Whether you are a SAHM, WAHM, work outside with/without kids, or retired, you can all take control of your homes a little at a time.

If you find yourself falling off the wagon, dont worry, it happens to all of us. Just start where you are. No beating yourself up, we all make mistakes, so get over it and move your buns.

I have fallen off the cleaning wagon myself. The last 2 years of my life have been a real roller coaster ride. I only got back into control over the last month. Three years ago this coming December my DH was diagnosed with cancer. He died the following April, leaving me with four children and being nine months pregnant. Since then, I have struggled to be a WAHM, because the place I felt I needed to be was with my five kids. You can imagine these events threw me into a whirlwind of chaos. My home began to fall apart and so did I, until one day I realized I had lost control of everything.

The chore card system wasnt helping, so I turned back to
Flylady and her baby-steps. This is where I had started over five years ago. I figured it wouldnt hurt to go back to the beginning if it worked once before. The changes in my life deserved a fresh start. So, I have been flying for thirty days now and my house looks incredible. I am so thankful for Flylady and the slob sisters help. But most of all I am thankful for me, finally getting to the point where living was worth it again and bringing my family and home along for the ride became my number one priority.

I still love my cards, so I have updated them so that they are easier to use to get our homes clean and stay that way. Please be sure to join our
buddy group and read your welcome letter carefully. It will be the first step to getting our homes under control.
