Since June of 1997, I have been on seven different journeys outside the borders of the United States and Canada. Most of my travels have been to Europe, although my first was to Belize and Guatemala in Central America. Sadly, I have had neither time nor money do to the classic Aussie "I'm traveling around the world for a year", but I've made the most of my time and am always anticipating the next.

In general, I recommand Lonely Planet Guides. I have found them to be the most useful, honest, and accurate guides for the young budget traveller. To make another general recommendation, In Your Pocket Guides are absolutely essentials when in a city for which they are published (Currently Central and Eastern Europe). I have made note of them in the individual country sections.

I hope that you can gain (and perhaps be amused) by my collection of experiences - pictures, remembrences, information and advice on my various destinations. I currently have pages on 27 countries, with more to come when I visit more. Just select the flag to read about the destination.
