Project Info


First I recreated circuit diagram for this module (in paper notebook B-8 p. 29, 30, 37), this was crucial for understanding how programm it (service manual is not avalaible as I know).
HF-17244#1 is hold intact while HF-17244#2 is modified version of original module:
1/ power, supply and other not necessary elements cutted off and disassembled
2/ DIP28 memory socket changed to DIP32 and few paths rerouted (I'm using typical DIP32 flash memory here)

I made various tests and experiments on this module, writing some code in assembler.
It was also interesting to download and analyze original 1980's software, I learned some 87AD architecture tricks from here.
