Project Info

HF-60247 extension board was made especially for HF-12247 module. HITACHI H8/3214 is 1980's CPU with external ROM and RAM interface, so it take me a lot of time to assembly this module on universal board because internal connections are really complicated.

29/12/2025 this system as a whole was assigned new project designator HF-6014.



This board has the following features:

  • Removable Flash ROM 128KB (DIP32 socket)
  • Removable RAM module 32KB
  • 26 I/O pins available as external ports
  • 28 I/O pins used for extension board resources
  • Reset button
  • LED for supply voltage control
  • HF-10032 I2C interface (memory drives HF-1469, HF-1471, etc with THFS file system)
  • HF-10040 UART interface for communication
  • Protection against reversed supply polarity
  • Buzzer
  • EEPROM 2KB 24C16 (DIP8 socket)
