Ages ago a great war nearly destroyed the world of Mythus. Many great countries were completely destroyed and continents sunk beneath the rolling waves. After the dust settled all that could be seen was three great land masses surrounding a continent hidden under the shadow of mystery. This land was called the Chalcedon, or the Mysterious Rock. It's lush jungles and jagged mountians are said to hide the truth. But at it's center stands a dark, lone tower. It is said that this tower is to be the home of the fallen lord who aims to destroy all that is left of the world. It is also rumored that this tower holds the last shred of hope for all of Mythus.
Aleut has only recently won it's independence and it's very survival is being threatened. Taal Zodo, becoming more and more overcome with the evil of Zodo has ordered the New Xodian Military southward to destroy the small democratic state. But there is hope, for the exiled Caperian leader Grentzen Estabon has successfully united the nomads of the Caperian Waste and is making his way to reclaim Capere. Talusia is also once again feeling the dark hands of greed for Taal Zodo has sent out his firecest warrior, High Priest Sataar, who effortlessly removed the self proclaimed despot of Talusia and is making moves to claim Talusia as a state of the New Xodian Empire. Members of the Church of Mogen David are also hiding in fear, beaing forced with a difficult decision to convert to the Church of the Holy Body of die. Small underground churches devoted to Mogen David are rising, but hope still looks bleak for all of Mythus
