The Latest Addition

This a nice look at one of MSP's newly marked and formatted Dodge Chargers. Notice this unit is a "slick-top", it has no bubble (overhead light). If you drive in Michigan you know you can notice that bubble way before you notice the slick-top.

Vehicles currently used in the fleet are the Dodge Chargers, Ford Police Interceptor, Chevy Tahoe's, and a few Chevy Impala's. The main vehicle used is Fords Crown Victoria. Each post will have a compliment of other cars such as the Chevrolet Tahoe or Dodge Charger as the MSP sees fit. The days of the Chevrolet Caprice, Ford Mustang's or Chevrolet Camaro's are long gone. The new Dodge Charger looks very promising. Will the Charger be the next to corner the MSP vehicle market?

Site Issues

I am currently looking for a few things as far as a web hosting. The current hosting, Geocities, shuts down the site after the bandwidth has been exceeded. With more than 100+ views on average per day that shuts down the site quite frequently. If this should happen it will be live again within the hour.

What will be happening:

  • Search for and secure a web host that is cheaper than Geocities.
  • Move all files to the new host with a redirect to the new URL.
  • Add MANY more pictures and information to the site with some additional features
  • Create a new guestbook with possibly a new message board for users
If you would like to be added to my update list please email me, I will keep you updated as I can.

Please Note!!

This is an UNOFFICIAL page and is not endorsed or edited by the Michigan State Police. This page will be a constant work in progress, there will be many updates with new pics and information as it becomes available. Click on each image to view the full size pic. If you have any additions to this site please make them available to me! I also have many questions yet to be answered, look for those on my help me page.

Officer Safety

I have received many questions and comments over the years since i've constructed this page. I am happy to answer any question I can and if I can't I will try to research the proper answer.

HOWEVER, I WILL NOT release or publish any tactical information that I believe would endanger or harm the lives of any MSP trooper. I will not answer firearms questions, channel frequencies, and other things of that kind.

This page is intended solely to provide information and answer questions about the awsome traditions of the Michigan State Police car. I hope you enjoy this page as much as I did creating it. ~Webmaster
