Sport Utility Vehicles
Sport utility vehicles haven't been that popular with the MSP, but they have their needs and uses. They serve as 4x4 units for snowy climates and rough terrain, they can be K-9 units, or used for motor carrier enforcement. They are all marked similar and have similar light equipment, including the rear strobes or LED's.
K-9 units are a bit different. The plate on the front indicates it is a K-9 vehicle by the first two letters "K9". If you look closely you can see a hump on the roof. This is an electronic venting unit with a fan that controls the temperature inside the vehicle to suit the dog.
