Specialty VehiclesPURSUIT CARS!! No police department, mostly that of the state police, would ever be complete without a pursuit car. These are cars made for speed. The vehicles made for pursuit for the MSP are mostly "two seaters" and "two doors". They can transport prisoners if they are a single person unit. They transport in the front seat, prisoner handcuffed behind the back, seat belted in. The MSP currently uses the Camaro as their pursuit car, but I personally haven't seen any of them since the 1990's. The mustang has been the vehicle of choice in the past.
I do not have much information on specialty vehicles at this point. I will try to catalog more information in the near future. The vehicles range from comman centers and armored vehicles to traffic investigation vans. I will list pictures for now. |
