| New England Promotions got it's start in Cranston Rhode Island in October 2006. Founded on wrestling tradition by wrestling traditionalists, New England Promotions is quickly becoming the foundation for Indy Wrestling in Rhode Island. New England Promotions (aka NEP) had their Inaugural Event at the Scary Acres Halloween Festival in Cranston, RI to a diverse crowd that was ranged from 50-100 people. With little promotion or media publicity, the show was deemed a success. The fans chanted for more as the show came to a close. Wrestlers making their Rhode Island debut were cheered as if they were regulars. The future looks bright as NEP heads into 2007 with several dates already set.
