The Mundrabilla homestead was established by Thomas Kennedy in the early 1870's. The town, which took its name from the property is on the Eyre highway, and almost on the coast. Mundrabilla is the center of one of the worlds largest meteor sites, created when a huge meteorite plummeted to earth some time during the last Ice age. Mundrabilla has a roadhouse Hotel / Motel and caravan facilities.
