We have been looking at a number of hotels/bungalows which may be suitable for groups. We have been advised that there is plenty of availability for Oct/Nov and in some cases they will not even quote prices until August.
We have not fully decided as to the location of the wedding - Au Nang town itself or Rai Lai - Railay being the obvious choice with the amazing scenery, the problem with Railay at present is that lot of the bigger premises will not serve alcohol due to their religious beliefs... guess the havn't had too many Irish checking in!! They will of course allow alcohol on the premises but for the group meeting around the wedding time it would be more suitable if we had restaurant/bar facilties etc. We are hoping to have direct links for our accommodation choice in early August depending on what group discount rates on offer, so hang in there.
