Hello to all at home and away and the good news is that the Big Event took place!!! Sean's holiday and Irene's wedding was a great success!!

The day started with Sean deciding to have a hair cut!! The girls located a fab salon in Ao Nang town and were whisked away for a four hour beauty make over which consisted of manicure, pedicure, facial, make-up, hair and lots of laughter, with the owner Nui even providing the balloons for decorating the 'tuk tuks' (see photos!) as well as being our taxi to ensure we got to resort in time to change into the glad-rags

We promised Sean we would not be late as he was already sweating enough and so at 3.04pm on 4th November Sean Farrell and the crew of 44 witnessed Irene and the posse coming up the aisle of St. Agnes Church.... and what a church it turned out to be, as you can see from the photos it was just more than we expected being only built two years!

The wonderful heart warming cermony began with Irene's veil falling out on the way up the aisle, oh but it could only happen to her!! Quickly recovering and resuming her 'aisle march' she met a very splendid looking Mr. Farrell with his 'pink shirt', yes pink but so lovely was he, all thanks for the wonderful tailoring hands of King Fashions - Ao Nang, who seemingly gave us 'very gud price"! When the happy couple took their unique vows and made their way down the aisle to the church exit they were met by an entourage of 'tuc tuc's (ten to be exact) who whisked them away to La Luna Bar in Naparrathara Beach for some cocktails, and photo sessions, before taking to the 'longtail boats' over to Railay Bay and to the very exclusive Ravaydee Resort, where the president of Thailand had been staying the previous three days on one of those fact finding missions that our bertie loves so well!!- Wow is all I can say as the staff absolutely organised an amazing display of food for all tastes, heart wrenching music, unbelievable flower displays, with nearly one for one waitor service, followed by some beautiful speeches, laughter and tears shared amongst all!!.

The night was wrapped up in the Rock Bar where the owner had made a huge banner for the happy couple, as well as painting the floor of his bar with lots of lovely slogans for the happy couple. Its best not to divulge what time the party finally finished but I will let you know that by the time folks went home the only thing that they have left undrunk was cheap whiskey, the place was dry!!! Well the Irish do know how to party!!

Check out the photos, sorry for the delay but there are so many, this is just a snip to get you going. Unfortunately there are huge files so for you on dial-up this may take several minutes per photo but it'll be worth it!! Well the honeymoon is in progress so we'll leave the happy couple until they return to blissdom in Ireland when you can all catch up and get all the low-down! In the meantime, spread the word...FARRELL IS OFF THE MARKET and Irene has done society a favour in accepting this challenge!! Roll on the good times!!

Both Irene and Sean would like to thank everyone for their well wishes on their big day, and made special acknowledgment to those of you at home who could not make it to Thailand, you were in their thoughts on their special day, and hopefully you will get to see them over the coming months as they begin their futures as Mr & Mrs........!!
