The Motherboard

The motherboard is a computer component that is used to connect all the computer components to communicate with each other. It is also known as a circuit board and connects the CPU to the other components trough circuits called buses. A bus is used to move data and instructions from or to the CPU, which connects to the other components. The speed of the bus is calculated in megahertz (MHz) so the faster the bus the faster data can be transferred between the components.
