The Knights of the this Order are those individuals who give everything to the protection of the Mother (Earth). Every Knight who carries the Viridian Shield shall have done all in the service of the Earth. Such Knight may use the initials "OVS" after their name, may use the title of Sir or Dame (depending on gender), and may wear a pin with a forest green round-shield on their elft breast.

The Knights of the Viridian Shield are collectively thought of as the "Shield" of the Kingdom The designation of Shieldbearer Prime in the Order of the Viridian Shield is held by the one Monarch who so extremely portrays the best traits of Earth Protector: HM Ambyre Maria I (note: some of this last Order may, instead, be titled a Knight of the Viridian Sword, especially if their contribution to the Mother's protection be more of a martial nature ... such as belonging to Earth First!, painting fluorescent paint on harp seals, etc.. (Note: these will wear a pin with a forest-green twin-edged sword instead of a round shield).
