Some
of my BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts)
works are displayed here.
These are some social awareness posters created as a part of
Pre BFA curriculum. The subject, creative idea and visualization and execution of the same are to be entirely made by the student. I have used various mediums like color pencils, air brush and pen on the paper to create these posters.
Another major part
of the BFA course is to make an advertising campaign for the
product/service of our choice. It can be an imaginary product or
existing product but entire creative part of the campaign should be
original.
Usually in our days
(1992-95) advertising campaign project (main part of the curriculum)consists of Branding,
Brand positioning, creating a USP (Unique Selling Proposition), and
then based on these create a Press and magazine ad series, posters
and other communication materials as applicable to the
product/service we have chosen.
I took Air-India
airlines as my product/service in my second year BFA. It was not
mandatory to make an advertising campaign when we were in 4th year,
but I made one small advertising campaign on my own interest so that
I get prepared well for my final year Ad-campaign.
Air India campaign
The theme for the campaign was to make a 75th year celebration (imaginary) of
the airlines.
