Was safely back at the construction site,
When she decided she was hungry for
One of those funny oranges that look
Like they have blood inside.
And Obadius went upon a quest
To find that tasty treat for their new queen.
They crossed the Arno, and, in the backyard,
Of some family named "Pitti" they bespied
Some gardens, very bubbly, so to speak,
Where oranges grew freely and untamed.
Toddysseus and Obadius jumped
A fence and grabbed two oranges.
Who happened on the way got quite upset,
And shouted in some funny gibberish tongue--
Furbish, perhaps--at our retreating friends.
