This is my materialistic page of prized posessions. I know its probably a bad idea to hold such value in tangible items, but I just can't help myself. Collecting things is my guilty pleasure.
My House is my biggest, and most prized posession. I love it, because all of the options, colours, appliances, carpet, tile, etc. were customized to my preference. Its beautiful, and has already proven to be a good investment!
My Setlists are also very important to me. I have collected MANY setlists throughout the years, some signed, by bands including The Cure, Cranes, Collide, Ani Difranco, Echo and the Bunnymen, Tori Amos, Interpol, Hooverphonic, Garbage, Tool, A Perfect Circle, etc. I love these little slips of paper!
Cranes Signed Jewel 3x7" Boxed Set I got this signed by Jim and Ali Shaw at a show in Seattle, Washington. This is the first time I met them, so it was a monumental occasion for me. When I thanked Jim for signing it, he thanked ME for even having it!
Cranes Signed Til The Stars Shine Lyric Book I bought this hand made book from the official Cranes site, and was pleasantly surprised when it came to me with Ali Shaw's little signature.
Cranes Signed Future Songs Poster This poster was signed to "Angela and Jon" by all of the members of Cranes, during the Future Songs Tour. Its so special to me, because it reminds me of three weeks of my life that I never want to forget!
Skinny Puppy Signed Drumstick I was lucky enough to catch this drumstick after the show in Tempe at the Marquee Theatre. I met Cevin Key later in the evening, and both he and the drummer that used it signed it.
Collide Signed Setlist I took this from the stage of their San Deigo show at Brick By Brick. They were nice enough to stay and meet the fans after the show, so I had both kaRIN and Statik sign it for me. It was a great night!
Tori Amos Signed Biography Book I had this signed by Tori at the San Diego meet and greet in 2002. She put on such an amazing show that night!
The Cure Signed Tour Poster Robert Smith signed this poster to "Angela and Jon" when we met him in San Francisco at a radio station.
The Cure Signed Just Like Heaven White Limited 7" Robert Smith also signed this when we met him in San Francisco. He told me that it was his favourite piece of Cure vinyl.
The Cure Signed Charlotte Sometimes 7" Robert signed this also at the radio show where I met him in San Francisco.
The Birthday Massacre Signed Promo Poster The whole band signed this poster for me the second time that I met them.
The Birthday Massacre Signed Violet EP The whole band signed this CD the first time I met them.
Massive Attack Signed Setlist The lead singer signed it as well as Liz Frazier from Cocteau Twins. I never thought I'd see her live in my lifetime, yet alone meet her. This setlist has such wonderful memories for me!
Android Lust Signed Promo Poster Shikee signed this for me when I met her at Sadisco. She also gave me a guitar pick which was pretty cool of her. She was such a sweetheart.
Love and Rockets Signed 7th Dream of a Teenaged Heaven LP Daniel Ash signed this for me when I met him at Pretty Vacant in December of 2006.
