Project Info

HF-6014 is new assigned designator for this project, which containes 3 main elements: microprocessor module HF-12247, extension board HF-60247 and RAM module HF-64115#2. HITACHI H8/3214 is 1980's CPU with external ROM and RAM interface.

Planning to run my operational system THOS-1 on this board.
Experiences gathered with construction of this system will be used in HF-6015 system where all these elements will be integrated on one PCB.



This system has the following features:

  • Removable Flash ROM 128KB (DIP32 socket)
  • Removable RAM module 32KB
  • 26 I/O pins available as external ports
  • 28 I/O pins used for extension board resources
  • Reset button
  • LED for supply voltage control
  • HF-10032 I2C interface (memory drives HF-1469, HF-1471, etc with THFS file system)
  • HF-10040 UART interface for communication
  • Protection against reversed supply polarity
  • Buzzer
  • EEPROM 2KB 24C16 (DIP8 socket)
