This title is singular in form, it occurs
about 250 times, El brings forth the character of
strength and that God, EL is
first cause of all things.

singular title occurring some 50 times is ELOAH.
The word derives from AHLAH , meaning to worship, to adore. This presents
God as the one supreme object of worship.
ELOHIM is a plural form of ELOAH, occurring about 2500 times. It is first used in Gen, 1:1 “…God created the heavens and the earth.” The same form is used with the pronoun, “us.” (plural) and “image” (singular) in Gen. 1:26 “Let us make man in our image” giving an early indication of the mystery of the Tri-unity” of the Godhead.4.JEHOVAH “HE IS” – “the Self Existing

This
is the most used name( about 6000 times) and
is generally translated as “the LORD” and only occasionally as
“Jehovah.” The spelling as used
here was formed in later time period by inserting vowels to the Hebrew form YHWH
to Yahweh, transliterated to Jehovah. It is used first in connection with Elohim
in Gen 2:4 The Lord God (Jehovah Elohim)
5.ADON --- “LORD”
This is a singular form meaning Lord Master Possessor, or Proprietor it
is found about 30 times.
6. ADONAHY—“LORD”
The plural form of ADON. Used as Lord or
“Master” only in reference to a Divine title . It occurs about 290 times.

Divine
titles, which are compound in form, occur throughout the Old Testament by
compounding the above names with other titles. A total
of thirteen are found and indicated in the paragraphs which follow. These
are made up usually of two elements, each of which may occur countless times
independently. Placed together in compounds, these elements form in effect,
“double” names of God. The double names provide us with a sense of greatness
and omnipotence of God, as He was known to the ancient Israelites through
various titles in addition to The Lord (Jehovah) or God (Elohim).
II.
The
Combination Names Of God
The
double names of God will often be noted in the text by an underscoring of the
name itself within the verse. The Hebrew form of the name will often be given at
the end of the verse.

Jehovah Adonay (Adonay). Translated “God the Lord” of the Lord
God.” Meaning JEHOVAH (IS) THE LORD.

Jehovah Elohim Translated: “The Lord God.” Meaning JEHOVAH IS GOD.
3.
Jehovah Sabaoth (Tsebaoth) Translated “The Lord of Hosts.” Meaning:
JEHOVAH OF THE (HEAVENLY) ARMIES.

Jehovah Elohe Sabaoth (Tsebaoth) Translated: “The Lord God of Hosts.”
Meaning JEHOVAH (IS) GOD OF (HEVENALY) ARMIES.

is found seven times in its full form and fourt one times in the form “ the
Almighty.” Found most in the book of Job.

El Olam. Translated: “The everlasting God.” Meaning: GOD (IS) THE
ETERNAL ONE.
