Let
me start by saying this. The battle is real even though it is not fought
in a battle field that can be seen by the natural eye. God is talking in
one ear and the devil is talking in the other ear. This is an opening
scripture that really says it all.
2 Cor !0: 3.
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4. (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty
through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5. Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth
itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every
thought to the obedience of Christ;
We are in the flesh.
The battle is in the mind. The devil will attack at the weakest point in
out life. He knows all our weaknesses and he will use them against us
whenever he can. We have
weapons of warfare to fight with and I am listing them in this study.
1.The name of Jesus
Mark
16:17. And these signs
shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils;
they shall speak with new tongues;
The name
of Jesus is our power. There is more power in the name of Jesus than you
will ever imagine. Just try the name of Jesus instead of putting up with
all the junk.
2.The
Baptisim of the holy Spirit
Ac 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come
upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in
all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
The holy
ghost is the power that will show you all things. The holy ghost is our
guide and our friend. If you need someone to agree with you in prayer
and you can’t find anyone just ask the holy ghost to agree with you
and he will. There is great untapped power in the holy ghost. I feel the
one that came closest to knowing how great the power of the holy ghost
was Paul and Silas.
3.The
blood of Jesus is a very powerful weapon in this war.
Re 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the
word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
12 ¶ Therefore rejoice,
ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the
earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great
wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
You will
overcome satin by the blood of the lamb and your testimony. As you can
see in verse 12 the devil knows his time is near to the end. That is why
you may be feeling the attacks so heavy at times. He knows he has not
got long till the end.
4.
All the gifts of the Spirit are listed in 1 Cor 12. I cant list them all
but you can look them up if you will. The gifts of the Spirit will put
the devil on the run.
5.
The fruits of the Spirit
Ga 5:22 But
the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness,
goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance:
against such there is no law.
You
have to understand that it will take great faith to fight the spiritual
battle. You must put on all your Armour that God has for you and use
every weapon. Remember the battle is the Lords you will just be a vessel
for him to work through.
6.
Another great weapon is praise and worship
Ps 135:3 Praise the LORD; for the
LORD is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.
There has been told numerous stories about
people winning great battles with praise and worship alone. One is the
battle of Jericho the walls come tumbling down. Ask the Lord to open
your spiritual eyes.
7. Praying in the Spirit.
Ro 8:26
¶ Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not
what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh
intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
27 And he that searcheth
the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh
intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
There is great things revealed through
praying in the Spirit. Things to come will be told you if you learn how
to listen to the spirit of truth. Jesus said he would send a comforter
that would show us all truth and things to come. Problem is when he does
tell us we don’t believe it or receive it.
8. Binding and loosing.
Mt 16:19
And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and
whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and
whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Understand this. The things are already
bound in heaven and loosed in heaven . They wont manifest till you call
and agree for them to be bound or loosed on Earth then the Heaven lies
may release the powers from heaven. In Jesus name. That is when it
becomes spiritual law on the Earth.
9. The prayer of agreement.
Mt 18:19
Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as
touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my
Father which is in heaven.
20 For where two or three
are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
This is one of my favorites against the
attacks of the devil. If you can find someone to agree with you there is
dynamic power in the prayer of agreement. But remember this. The
agreement prayer is only as strong as the peoples faith that are praying
and agreeing. Kind of like the cchain is only as strong as the weakest
link.
10. The Armour of God.
Eph 6:13
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to
withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore,
having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate
of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod
with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the
shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery
darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of
salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with
all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with
all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
I am going to tell you this to save you
time. You must ask God in faith for him to put his whole Armour on. Just
say God would you please out your Armour on me now so I can stand
against the wiles of the devil. I receive it in faith and thank you for
it. You need to pray for the Armour every 24 hours.
11. There is great power in
Obedience.
Jas 4:7
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee
from you.
8 Draw nigh to God, and
he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify
your hearts, ye double minded.
The devil does not have to listen to you or
flee if you are not in submission to God Almighty. So be humble and
submissive to God and he will grant you all you need to fight the battle
against the forces of hell.
12. Confession of your faith from
Gods word.
Mr 11:22
And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto
you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and
be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall
believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall
have whatsoever he saith.
Believe this every time you tell the devil
to leave or to shut up he will return soon and say see there it is not
working there is nothing you can do to me. Understand this when the
devil is saying things like it is not working or there is nothing you
can do. That is how you now when you have him on the run. The devil can
not tell the truth all he can do is lie, cheat, steal, and kill. Jesus
came to give us life more abundantly.
13. Angels
Ps 103:19
¶ The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom
ruleth over all.
20 Bless the LORD, ye his
angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening
unto the voice of his word.
Just pray for the Lord to release the
ministering spirits and the angels and see what happens then. I dare you
to make this stand on the Word of God.
14. Fasting. Read all about
fasting in Isaiah 58
15: Singing
Isa 54:1
¶ Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing,
and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the
children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith
the LORD.
God inhabits the praises of his people. He
will come to your every need when you sing unto him. Read all through
the Psalms and see what happened to David through songs of praise and
worship.
16: Anointing
Jas 5:14
Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and
let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
15 And the prayer of
faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he
have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
Anoint everything. Your house, every
doorway, every window, every air duct, anywhere the devil can get in.
Believe what you are doing.
There are many powerful tools of warfare that have been given for
us to use in battle. Remember the battle is Gods we are just a vessel
for him to pour out his Spirit through. The battle is real. The battle
is spiritual. It is a war and at times there are casualties of war. I
pray this study has helped in some way. I pray it was as much of a
blessing for you to read and study as it was for me to prepare.
