OBJECTIVES OF THIS BOOKLET
This booklet has been compiled as an aid to those juniors (and adults) that are starting to fish, and those that are trying to teach them,  growing  towards people who do have some idea of how to pursue the quarries of the water, and enjoy the relaxation of the sport, and would like to be a bit more succesful.

Kariba Angling Society would like to thank all those that helped in the compilation, and especially the African (Zimbabwe) Fisherman Magazine, for the permission to reproduce parts of their previous articles/pictures, on the basics of angling etcetera.

If any angler has any suggestions to improve this booklet (without turning it into a full scale book,) for the benefit of those learning to enjoy the sport, please drop the Chairman a line on P O Box WGT 493 Westgate, in Harare, and the suggestions may be included in any updates of the booklet.

Angling is not just a competitive Sport, it is also a recreation for the relaxation and enjoyment of the outdoors that we live in and love so much.

As has been said in a well known magazine before :-

We borrow the environment from our children, and they from theirs,
So lets not spoil it, just enjoy it.

DO NOT LITTER IT

Each chapter/section is on its own and thus can be printed directly from the screen. When you come to the species section the page is rather dynamic (well I think so anyway), and again you can simply print from the screen. A colour printer may be useful if you wish to print the graphics and pictures in colour.
Enjoy.
